Checked starter/solenoid, fuses, relays, etc. jump power to starter and it cranks fine but still no start. Ran fine then one day wouldn't crank. All accessories and lights work, new batt. Any suggestions?

Yep same problem as usual we all have it seems the cluster somehow has a body control.module that sends the right voltage to relays and modules in the car even the OBD 2 Port look for a short or a ground or you may need to replace cluster. If that's not it it could be the Vechicle Security Control Module somehow in the ignition as anti theft. Look for shorts or ground issuE or may need replacing.

When you turn the key on the ASD relay should turn on the fuel pump and power the injector, Do this lets cheat the system go to the ASD rely open the cover expose the inside have some one turn the key on does the ASD make contact? If not turn the key on collpase the ASD so it make contact do you hear the fuel pump come on? Now try this just as how you iopen the ASD do the same to the starter relay. Put the car in gear e brake on someone in the vehicle in case the car start and you are in front of it and it runs you over so at least they step on the brakes. Key on ASD exposed as your collapse the starter relay does the ASD relay turn on? Here why if you can control all the relay from under the hood you will need a ignition switch (the eletrical part)

I'll bet anything I'm still researching but all of us replacing parts and it doesn't help. I hear there is a Body Control Module somehow integrated in the cluster that controls power to relays and other modules if there is a short or ground issue the whole car has issues also the vehicle security control module if it has a short or ground issues kills the OBD 2 port as well somehow it in the ignition system short or ground issues similar issues. Hope this helps all of us!

Dont attempt this if you dont know what you are doing. Replace the tensioner and water pump. If the belt was broken, the valves are bent. the cam marks are at 3 oclock on the rear cam and 9 o clock on the front cam. the crank is approx 1 o clock. its a specific procedure to tension the belt. so get a book ar have a pro do it.

SOURCE: '05 PT Cruiser O2 sensor problems.

I had a similar problem with my car. It turned out the O2 sensors were fine and the issue was a leak in the throttle body causing the engine to run lean. If you have an ODB2 scanner you can look at fuel trims, etc and will be able to tell.

I have a 2004 Chrysler PT Cruiser Convertiable. Both windows on the driverside will not go down when you open the door. I have replaced the window switch and that is not the problem.

2008 pt cruiser - check engine light came on, within minutes it started to "power down" and and died. Won't start. What could cause this? BTW have changed spark plugs, camshaft sensore, cranks

My PT did that when my timing belt broke. It cost $500.00 to replace it. If it is broken, be ready to have some motor work done. I had to have to values replaced at a cost of $900.00. If your timing belt is not broken then check the alternator and battery. I was riding down the road and my PT shut all the way down and would not start. I had to leave it beside the road. It was my alternator. It gave me no warning.

My 2005 PT Cruiser shows error codes P0508, P0688, and P0522. Sometimes it runs well, and other times it runs rough then dies and won't start back.

this obd2 trouble code table can help u understand the meaning of code.
po522, the possible solution:
The most likely cause is a faulty oil pressure sensor/switch.
for p0688, you can Check all the ECM fuses, if the fuses are OK try replacing the ASD relay.
