Core is fine, just no heat
You have a stuck air temperature control blend door problem. The blend door is what moves to divert air across the heater core and AC core to heat or coll the air or a combination of the hot and cold air streams, to blend them. To replace the part requires that the dash be removed from car as the door is located in the production.

thermostat is located in the radiator to block hose. if you
look directly under the power steering reservoir you should see it.
The thermostat has 3 hoses running from it. 2 are approx. 1.5"
in dia and 1 is approx .750" in dia. The .750" hose leads up to the
coolant reservoir. and yes it is under the power steering reservoir
