Power windows will not work. what to check for?

well, the first thing is to check the fuses and or relay for power windows.should be listed in your owners manual. if ok, then remove switch from drivers side window and check for power. if power to the switch then use a jumper wire from power side to motor side of switch. if window works then its the switch causing the problem. Have you actually checked for power at the driver's master switch?
I don't think there would be a window relay, there is probably a power window circuit breaker in the instrument panel fuse box.
If no windows work, pull the master switch out and check for one hot wire with key on. If none, check for broken wires in driver's door opening. Your ground for the windows will be in that group of wires too. Both must work for windows to operate. If you have power and good ground at the master switch, and no windows work, probably a bad master switch.

First check all fuses, second check for 12v power at the connector to th rear window, a test light or volt meter on dc voltage,if there is power use an ohm meter to check the window grid with the power connector disconnected.if open the connection is either open or bad. if there was no power at the connector check the power from switch all the way back to the window

most of the time driver side windows switch be the first switch to wear out.try removing window switch work switch while moving the wires see if window try to go up, if yes, window switch broken.if switch not broken check see if power going to window motor when you work the switch you need a test light or digital volt meter to check to see if power going to power window motor.if power going to power window motor, either window binding or power window motor faulty. make sure driver side window master switch not locked out.if no make sure all the other power windows work if not you have blowed fuse.

i have seen the ignition switch fail not turning on all the options check for power going to the switch

check the window lock switch on the drivers panel, if its gone bad, the other windows will not work,,

Power window usually don't have a fuse but an automatically resetting breaker. If all four windows stopped working at the same time check the body control module that is what manages the power windows. Good luck.

Its possible, check underhood fuse box, the position 6, 60AMP for Power Windows

If the fuse is OK, take off the trim panel to check the windows motor, windows switch and wires.
