I was just reading a response you sent in July to a question about a fuel pump replacement on a 2002 Chevy Blazer and you sound like just the guy I need. My Blazer has been taking a while to start. It cranks, but it was taking five or six attempts before it would fire. This weekend it died completely and I had it towed to my mechanic. Long story short, changed the fuel filter, complete tune up. The car still wouldn't turn over unless starter fluid was sprayed into the carburetor. Then it would run OK, but then the check engine light came on and computer at Auto Zone said Mass Air Flow sensor. Replaced the MAF, and then the car ran perfect and started right up--without having to spray starter fluid into it. This morning it took forever to start again. Once it finally started, it ran perfectly. When I got to work, I turned it off and turned it back on again, but I have a feeling it won't start again today when I leave work. When the lid (?) is off the carburetor, it's almost like it's getting no fuel. Fuel pressure was perfect when it was tested, and the car doesn't bog or die at all, it runs perfectly once it starts. Could this just be the relay? I couldn't find the relay this weekend. Where is it located on my car? I found a bunch of relays under the hood and driver's side dash area, but nothing that was for fuel relay. Any Ideas??
It could be your fuel pressure regulator, check this link for details:

That's what it looks like.
It should be in that fuse compartment or it could be in the fuse compartment inside the blazer
My blazer doesn't start now it was haveing problems starting. on the way home it died and want start and the fuel pump isn't comeing on when you turn key what to do?
SOURCE: bogs down when pushing on gas?
unplugging MAF tells the pcm that the car has a problem some pcm,s will atomatically turn on fan, have you changed fuel filter or checked fuel pressure, the fan will only come on if temp reaches 104oc or air cond pressure gets to 250psi

I have the same exact problem with my 2002. Did anyone figure out what the problem was? Thanks for any help.
I have the same problem, plus sometimes it pops once just before starting.
Then it runs fine, usually starts right up when warm. Could this be ignition
related problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
