This doesnt show up for your car and I was wondering if you could either cofirm it with him or get someone else with adifferent brand OBD 2 scanner to pull codes. Is your PT from europe?

You may sneak it out with small fingers with out pulling out the starter.
If starter removal is required,Just unhook the battery cables,Remove the 2 bolts holding the starter on.

The first code is for "driver seat track position sensor low". The module detects that the sensor input is less than or equal to 0.3 mA. The second code is referring to the first code. I have no idea what the third code is. Basically you have two different communication systems mixed. The 2001 uses the PCI bus system and the 2007 uses the CAN bus which is much faster. The first code is a CAN bus code and the second is a PCI code. As far as the airbag deploying in the event of a collision, I don't believe it will with an active code in the system. My PT cruiser is a couple of years older, but I had the same problem. Drove fine, but start-up was erratic for several weeks. By the time AAA arrived, it usually was working fine. But when it suddenly started "struggling for power on the freeway and further along on the same trip, lurching (on a city avenue) I drove straight to my mechanic. It WAS the same sensor . . . and car has been driving perfectly ever since he changed it.
