Raido and alarm does not work - 1996 BMW Z3 Roadster

Programming issue with the radio itself not receiving Sirus signal properly most likely.

door chime is activatid by switch on door raido should only come on when key is in on or acc setting if key is not in all the way door chime should not come on at all

go to store and buy adapter kit simple

It is most likely the sterio itself. I have seen 3 A4's that have had the raidos go bad. The only fix that worked was to replace the raido. Hope this helps!

You can disconect the battery let it sit for 15 minn and then reconect the battery this will power down the raido ,, if the cd is not damaged or warped it will now eject, ,,,, If the cd is damaged you will need to remove the raido and have the cd removed by a raido tech the raido will need to be takiin apart.

Did you check all the fuses and do an error code (DTC) check? If all is well, then something in the wiring harness may be faulty. However, the BCM can also be the problem, but if so, you should be getting a DTC about it.

yes when the battery dies or was disconnected it put your car into safe mode you have to lock doors and go and open the passager door to shut alarm off safe mode will not go away unless the 4 digit code off of the back of radio is enterted then the raido will work again

CHECK THE RADIO FUSE,IF BLOWN,THE RADIO WILL NEVER WORK CK FUSE

You have Blown some Fuses. Take a Really good Flashlight and Check ALL the Fuses in that Box and you should find the Problem. Let me Know! Please Rate My Response! Thanks!

Your GM product has a safety alarm, it shuts down the radio , or locks it.
I send ours to a GM dealer to get it unlocked. They don't give those codes out.
