SOURCE: water pump replacement in a 2002 Mazda MPV

The reason is the water pump is driven off the timing belt, extra parts and allot more labor. No the eng does not have to be removed, labor time around 4 hours, parts about, about $125 US for parts, if it is a dealer add $75 US

SOURCE: can't find reset switch for fuel pump on mazda mpv

It is typically located in the rear of the vehicle in one of the side compartments. It has a red button on it. I would also check the fuel pump fuse, and relay.

SOURCE: I have a 1997 Mazda

Its in the fuel tank, you will need to drop the tank in order to get to it. Check your fuse first and relays.

SOURCE: 1992 mazda 626 = not getting fuel, will start while

fuel filter should be located under the hood on the driver side below the brake master cylinder, fuel pump is in the tank some vehicles you can lift the rear seat bottom and get to pump others you have to drop the tank and remove the pump.

Testimonial: "thx, there was fuel on both sides of the fuel filter.i lifted the seat , removed the access pannel & it's getting power.i don't know how to remove it."

Fuel pump is working but still not getting gas and cranking

Just because the fuel pump is working doesn't mean it's supplying the correct pressure. You need to do a fuel pressure test to rule out the fuel pump. Change the fuel filter too if it is inline.

Need to know location of fuel pump relay on a Mazda mpv 3.0l v6 1997 model

The fuel pump relay is located below the right side of the dash to the left of the engine control module. There is also a 15amp fuse
for the fuel pump. In the fuse block under the left side of the dash
fuse #19. Hope this helps.
