Hi I have a hyundai elantra elite hvt xd and the remote come as not working and I have tryed to fix it and I have taken it to a repair shop too and they can't I can't fix it when I put the battery in it works for about 2mins and then cuts out the light on the remote don't work and I have to open it move the battery around and it will work I have tryed new battery's and I have replaced the out side case too and nothing has changed is there any fix that I can do or would I have to get a new one?

it is the O2 sensor in the manifold that went bad. it is an easy fix but i wouid recommend taking in to somwere other than the dealer to save you money. this is small problem that will only effect your gas milage a little

it is very easy to change the oil put the car on ramps secure the back end look for the drain plug underneath the engine make sure you have the right size wrench and when you remove the plug also check the gasket on the plug to make sure it is not cracked you will also need an oil filter wrench and my other suggestion to you is to go to autozone to see if they have a Haynes repair manual for your car and if they don't see if they can order you one in the mean time they can also print you off a diagram of how to change the oil in you car safely

It wouldn't be the car battery, but since you just purchased the car, the dealership should correct the problem. Bring it to their attention right away. Did you get any kind of warranty? Most dealers have at least a 30 day warranty for things like this.

The check engine light usually comes on when there is a faulty sensor. or circuit. Sounds like you may have a faulty throttle position sensor. It would be best to have engine codes read to pinpoint exact problem area. Many part stores do this for free.

I personally would never operate a vehicle that is missing a bearing much less floating around on the innards, whether or not its worth the $$$ only u can answer that...Do you enjoy the vehicle is it still in good shape otherwise that would allow u to drive it for many more years once the repair is done. Call around to the local engine shops for quotes and ensure you get a good warrantee.
