Jack up the front wheels and rotate them by hand. Look for any runout that may be cause by a bent wheel. Also feel the tread as you rotate the tire. It should be smooth and concentric. If there are any bulges in the tread the tire is seperated. Grab the wheel at the top and bottom and push/pull. You should feel no play. If you do you woman have a bad wheel bearing. In order to check ball joints and tie rods you will need to have the tire off the ground and the jack under the subframe or pinch weld. This will not work if the jack is under the control arm. Grab the tire at the 9 and 3 o'clock positions and push pull. If you feel any play you either hav E worn ball joints or worn tie rod ends. Let me know if you have any questions and I'll do my best to answer them. Thank you for using!

After thoroughly checking as per the directions of Mr. Jeremy.w, further check the Lower Arm Chassis mount fitting and Steering mounting bolts too.And check is there any cracks at that places

1st check to see that all the lugnuts are tight. If that is not the problem you will have to go back to the tire shop and have the wheel balanced.

SOURCE: the rear tire is on

ok this could be a couple of things first things first even though the tires look gook they can still have a broken belt which will cause your shake, another thing is yu could have a warped rim which also will cause the car to shake, also the rear wheel bearing assembly could be wore out. hope this helps

I have a 2016 Kia Rio and I'm experiencing something very "funny". While driving the steering feels as though I'm driving on ice or wobbles.

Hey Sherry...Does the wobble get worse when you brake?..ok.. First, get your tires rotated and balanced...this will eliminate two possible issues... (bad tire or bad wheel) ..did this cure it??. yes..GOOD... - no..?... now if it gets worse when you brake, you need to get your front rotors turned and new brake pads...this will eliminate two more possible issues..(worn brake pads or warped rotors)....hopefully we have cured your problem.. if not.. its time for a QUALIFIED professional to look at your front wheel drive system..this is/could be a safety related issue!! Be safe.. please rate as helpful... thanks..

I changed tires cause of a bad wobble, problem solved, a month later it came back at 60-80 mph, gettin worse on my 94 ranger

Here's a long answer. It could be 100 things. But if your wobble is showing up at low speeds, look at the tread on the tires. Does it snake back and forth? If so you have a belt separation in the tire. If it's not a tire, you may have a suspension part that's bad. Or, more than one. Control arms, ball joints, tie rods, (inner and outer), bushings, and wheel bearings, and any one of them could be waiting to send you into the ditch, or worse. Many garages will give you a free check of your major components. Try them. If you can't or won't, jack up your truck so one wheel is in the air, grab the front tire with one hand at 9 o'clock and the other at 3 o'clock. Wiggle the tire. A very little play, is probably ok, but if you have more than 1 inch of movement, you probably have a bad wheel bearing or a ball joint or control arm. Now grab the tire from top and bottom. Try to move the tire up or down. You should have NO play, at all. Any movement is bad, probably a ball joint, but it still could be a bearing. When you're driving, if your steering wheel is wobbling side to side, it's a front wheel problem. If you just feel the wobble in your seat, it's a rear wheel problem. Don't let the problem keep getting worse. If you put used tires on, it's probably a tire. That, you can fix. Anything else I've mentioned, you can't fix without some very expensive tools, and an alignment machine. Good luck.

My tire is wobbly

Wish I knew what vehicle but if it's front wheel drive, bet on the wheel bearing, would think it would make noise on turns, usually worse one way than the other.

sounds like it time to have the front end balljoints inspected. Only with an inspection will you get the proper results. Why guess, this is a safety issue.

Front end wobble

An easily overlooked problem that can have these symptoms is low tire pressure. Examine your tire for excessive wear or a flat spot. Check your tire pressures. If all this seems fine, rotate your tires to see if that helps the problem. If so, replace the suspect tire.
