Test drove about 6 miles, pulled over to go back to shop and it stalled. Would not restart for several minutes, then I drove back to shop. It cut out a few times on way back. Then when back in shop, turned off and tryed to restart. No spark. Wait a little bit and then started. Code p0322 re-appeared and epc lamp is on.

I had this same exact problem a few months ago. My mechanic replaced the Crank Speed Sensor, reset my codes - and all was good again. Cost less than $100.

your battery or you alternator is not performing properly depriving the engines ignition system of the volage necessary to keep the engine running. the EPC light came on because raw fuel was sensed by the o2 sensors

Every time you loose power to a throttle body(disconnect battery or unplug wire from throttle), you need to do throttle body adaptation , using appropriate scantool.
