Radio and Cd player shut down

Sounds like it needs the code inputting, mine did the same. Now, what the code is?????
Maybe if you post the make and serial number on here someone may be able to help. It maybe written down in your manual etc.

You can either replace the radio or unplug it from the wiring harness. You can find removal procedures on youtube.

The code for your cd player should be on a card that was placed inside of the manual in your glove box. You just need to enter this code on your radio. If you can not find the code, remove the trim around the radio and write down the serial number for your radio. If you call up a mitsubishi dealership and tell them you need the radio code for your radio, they should be able to tell you what it is.

the only thing i can sagest is that you leave the battery disconnected over night this may reset the cd player and it may Normal 0 MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 /* Style Definitions */ table.MsoNormalTable {mso-style-name:"Table Normal"; mso-tstyle-rowband-size:0; mso-tstyle-colband-size:0; mso-style-noshow:yes; mso-style-parent:""; mso-padding-alt:0cm 5.4pt 0cm 5.4pt; mso-para-margin:0cm; mso-para-margin-bottom:.0001pt; mso-pagination:widow-orphan; font-size:10.0pt; font-family:"Times New Roman";} Recognise that it has cds in it
the only other thing i can think of is that when it says enter single disk only that you do so to a point don't let it go all the way in
this may make the cd player think there is a disk in there

Their is possibly a short. I would first isolate the problem. Disconnect the CD player and radio. If you can disconnect it then remove the radio fuse.

Start and drive the car for 15 minutes or so. Shut it off, and let it sit for a while. Then go out and start the car. Repeat this until you are sure that your problem is with the radio or wiring.

If The car fails to start and is having a repeat of the problem you have a parasidic draw on the battery from somewhere.

disconnect battery and then try to re-enter code, then press cd on radio

of course, enter to your cd-player company web site, write them your problem and they will help you.

to enter your code when the cd player displays error leave cd player switched on and after 20 mins or so i will display 0000 then you will be able to enter your code this happens when some 1 has entered the wrong code
