I have a 2004 Chevy Silverado, I had the same problems with my anti-lock brakes. I replaced both of the hub bearing, I purchased Timken bearings and the came with the sensors already installed. They are 149.99 at Autozone.

I would recommend you have the vehicle scanned for trouble codes. You can get this done at no charge at your local Auto Zone or Advance Auto Parts store.
Record the code numbers and reply back to this message and we can go from there.
Based on your description, I would guess you may have a HWSS ( hand wheel speed sensor) issue or possibly an ABS wheel speed sensor problem, again, this is only a guess until you have the codes read.
Let me know.

Need to find out what code is in the chassie system. Sounds to me like one of the wheel speed sensors is not reading right and the truck things you are sliding. BUT before you put any parts on it, find out what code is in it and report back.
