There could be an air lock in the system, pluged heator core, a bad thermostate or control modual. try bleeding the air out through the bleeder screew if there is no heat after that have the control modual tested if its okay try having the cooling system flushed then if it still doesnt heat intall new termostate

Also look into the temperature range selector, sometimes deep in the dash, also called climate control selector module. Basically it routes the "conditioned climate" thru and to the vent area U hace the selector positioned too. Same with temperature control module. A mixing valve, sililiar to a faucet, when in a/c position it completely shuts the heater out by depriving it of hot water from ur vehicles cooling system, via a plumbing switch that goes thru a heater core, (a small radiator that hot wate flows thru, and has afan behind it, that fan has varias speeds that u select

I have dodge caravan 95, 205,678 miles and seems running really well, the only problem is, there's no hot air, i replaced the thermostat a while ago, still blowing cold air.and checked the coolant it's ok,...

WITH ENGINE FULLY WARM, FELL BOTH HEATER HOSES THEY SHOULD BOTH BE HOT. IF ONE IS HOT AND THE OTHER IS COLD HEATER CORE IS LIKELY PLUGGED. IF BOTH ARE HOT THEN YOU HAVE A BLEND DOOR PROBLEM UNDER THE DASH.

2007 grand caravan heat takes about 10 minutes plus to get warm-is this normal? It actually blows cool air for that long, but eventually blows hot air. Replacing the thermostat which might have been...

sounds like you have a actuator problem or the heater core may be stoped up check and make sure actuator is moving if not replace

make sure both heater core hoses are hot to touch at operating temp if both are not hot replace heater core

and of course check your coolant/antifreeze and insure it is full no water no heat

The heater in my 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan only blows warm air while on low. If the dial is turned to high it blows cold air. What is the problem?

It sounds like the heater valve is not operating. Find the valve on the engine firewall passenger side and manually open the valve. Find it by following the 3/4 inch heater hose to the firewall where it is connected to the valve. Most likely the cable ( or vaccum hose)from the temperature dial to the valve needs replacing.

No heat. Guage shows medium range between hot and cold, but no heat out of diffusers. My first thought is the thermostat, but thought that I would check with others first before I go changing parts.

Check both heater hoses under the hood put your hand on each one and feel the temperature make sure the engine is warmed up to operating temperature though. If one feels hot and the other one is cold or luke warm your heater core may be plugged up also on those hoses see if there is a heater valve connected to either one if so make sure it is operating properly.

Heater slow to work

this sounds normal in very cold conditions! The air is never hot when you first start the car in any car, until the engine warms up, then the heater air will also warm. You could check your anti-freeze level for the first thing. If you don't have enough anti-freeze, it won't run through your heater to give you the proper heat

Cabin Heat is Intermittent / Fluctuates / Cycles

You may have air trapped in the lines to or from the heater core.
If you (still) have a real radiator cap on the radiator, remove it with a cold engine, start and run the engine allowing it to warm up while watching the water/coolant level. Make sure the heater control is set to its highest heat setting while doing this. If it is trapped air, you may see it 'belch' after the engine is warm and the engine thermostat is open. Refill as needed if this is the case.
It's more difficult without direct radiator access and may require several cycles of hot/cold to allow refilling through the overflow.

My heater in my dodge caravan does not blow hot air. When my engine finnaly heats up, it blows only warm air. Its a 2006

First of all make sure your anti-freeze is at specification level's as well as make sure With the engine cold start the vehicle remove the radiator cap and make sure you see the flow of anti-freeze while keeping your hands as well as your clothing away from moving parts feel both hoses going into your heater core if the one on top of hot one on the bottom is cold then you have a Clogged heater core in which case you will need to flush the system . a simple garden hose will do the trick simply remove Both hoses to the heater core with the hose at the bottom line apply the garden hose until liquid comes out at the top of the other hose will probably see a lot of gunk. Also ensure that the vacuum line to the round ball under the hood is connected and not dry rotted.this will cause a vacuum leak to not allow the switch to fully engage from cold to hot. I hope this helps you.

Dodge caravan 2002 heating problem

The O2 sensor problem has nothing to do with the heat problem. Check your antifreeze level to make sure it is up where it should be. then check the thermostat which is most likely the problem. If either one of them are not the problem, it might be your water pump is getting weak.

Heater on driver-side blows barely warm air other vents blow cold

the most probabale cause of this would be a disfunctional hear core if you replace your heater your heater will more than likley work the the way it's supposed to
