yes blower fan works, I believe I have found the problem one of the lines to the heater core appears blocked, because one line is cold to touch and the other is hot I will attempt to flush these lines later today to see if I have solved the problem

99 taurus, no heat. Reading posts & ended up changing water pump, NO HELP. Flushed heater core - instant heat - relief - for about 2 months.

Seems system is clogged beyond simple flush. WIll repeat flush. Read another post that said multiple stop/start hose flush because stuff stirs up, settles and repeats.

Y wont the heat get hot just warm

If the blower isn't working you need to check the fuse and relay and lastly the blower. If the blower is working you could have a clogged heater core.

You will have to check there is an output voltage from the switch ( suspect plug connector) . If you say the fuses are ok then you will have to try either a relay or fuse box connector . Good luck

My 99 ford taurus has no heat, what can I check or do.

Check the fuse in the fuse box under the dash on the driver's side. Alternatively, check the connections from the switch to the heater.

2000 Ford Taurus-- Heater not working.

what you need to do is check that your relays are OK
in some cars you cannot see through the relay like a fuse
the only way to check if it is the relays is by replacing them
if this dose not work and you have a electronic climate control system your controm box may be burnt out this will need replacing
