no information generic answer as of now no since no info on engines or models check with junkyards using their cross reference info or online sites for cross-reference charts but engine size and models are an important factor
PCM's are model specific by VIN number. That does not mean 2 seemingly identical models are interchangeable. Some people have simply plugged in 2 different PCMs because the cables matched. Some have worked and some have fried. My car was made at 2 different factories with one changing the emission controls 3 months into the year. I wouldn't mess with it. They make after market PCMs by VIN on the web. Do some google searches to find them.
There are 2 different procedures used to reset PCMs; depending on whether the vehicle has the older OBD1 emission control system; or whether it has the OBDII system. With the older OBD1 system; the PCM could be reset by disconnecting the battery for several minutes. But the later model OBDII system cannot be reset that way. It requires connecting an OBDII compatible code scanner to the vehicle, and using the scanner to reset the PCM. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- FGtech V53
if you look under the hood on the drivers side you will see a square plastic box beside the battery. Unscrew that box and you will see oil light and other reset buttons. It is well labelled
