You have an electrical problem. Some wire has gone bare and is shorting out the system. Those are really time consuming to find, so best of luck. The battery has nothing to do with your problem.

Check connection to the starter? Try it in neutral? Is there an alarm installed? Maybe active but on silent

Who installed the computer? Maybe the speaker is not connected.

you might have blown out all your electrical under your dashboard you might want to check your fuses in your car.

Who installed the stereo? A professional? Or you or a friend? Either way sounds like some wires touched something they shouldn't have! Take it back to where stereo was done and tell them to fix it.

It is possible that when you installed the radio ,you grounded the illumination wire and blew fuse
for dashlight illumination

Look for a second power wire that needs to be hooked up. There is one wire that is switched (runs from the ignition) and another that is direct from the battery. You can test for this with a light or a meter. Typically the always hot wire will include an in-line fuse to prevent fires in the event of a short... Hope this helps...;-)

If the car has a factory alarm, it could have set. Try unlocking the drivers door with the key first.
