When the heat is on the driver side blows heat but the passenger side blows cold. It has dual climate control. adjusting temp has no affect
Blend door for passenger side or blend door motor has failed. Very big job to remove dash and work on it. Except the door motor is accessable from the glove box.

Thanks for that. I checked with dealer, they state each actuator is $85 and that I likely will need a part called a "mid case blend housing", which is another $87. As bad as that sounds, it is still better than the $800 repair bill everyone keeps talking about.

Did you check your coolant level or was it low and you added to it at some point? If so the system my need to be bleed or worst case the thermostat is going bad.

I have same problem on my 2002 Grand Cherokee. Just developed recently. The AC seems to work fine, just the heat is a problem. I suspect the IR sensor. Does anyone have any other suggestions?
