I am trying to change transmission fluid on my 98 chrysler concorde. the local parts store said 9.9 quarts needed to be added. I dropped my pan and added all 9 quarts where the transmission dipstick is. Was there someplace else to add about half of the 9 quarts? and where
The nine quarts is the total capacity of the transmission. The only time you would use all nine quarts is if you where flushing the transmission.
You will need to drop the pan and start over as your transmission is now severly overfilled.
I left the details of how to do this in your previous question.

SOURCE: torque specs needed
do you have a Haynes reapir manual or Chiltons? if not you can get one from autozone or some other parts places, or you might find one in your local library, inside that book are all the torque specs you can stand.
SOURCE: how many quarts of transmission fluid does a 1995
That depends if you are talking about dropping the pan only - or fluid for the entire trani including the tourque converter..
If only dropping the pan - it should be about 3 to 5 quarts..
It its for the hole trani & tc - it should be 6 to 9 quarts..
Rate me good ;o)

If you have the 4 cyl it's 9 ft. lbs. If there are nuts 17 ft. lbs.
The 6 cyl. is 5 ft. lbs.

Purchase a rubber gasket kit from any auto parts store ($20) and use a major brand High-temp RTV Silicone (tube $8).
