SOURCE: water pump bearing went out. leaking water need to

Difficult to get to but not complicated to replace. Remove housing bolts, clean the surface, (engine side) then put on new one with gasket if applicable. Tighten botlts in sequence slightly so as not to warp new waterpump...they are made of cast aluminum, (pot metal), and if you individually tighten, you run the risk of warpage and developing a leak. This is an easy fix...but in a tight spot.

Fan clutch waterpump radiator and timing belt replacement

Without more specifics, the only thing I can suggest would be for locating the parts you need. I'd recommend a salvage yard for any of your parts EXCEPT the waterpump. I owned a salvage yard and still recommend replacing the waterpump with a new (not rebuilt) unit. The costs are almost the same in almost all applications. If you have nowhere at all to work on the car, a cheap alternative to a repair shop is a tech school. You supply the parts and pay little or no $ for labor. Food for thought anyways. Good luck!

Remove and replace scion xa waterpump

If the water pump is leaking, the next logical step to fix the problem is to replace it. There are no serviceable parts in the water pump. They wear out at the shaft or leak at the gaskets, and are considered to be a common problem to require replacement on cars.

Antifreeze leaks from waterpump after driving

Sounds to me like the shaft seal has failed on your water pump and you need to replace the pump, theres usually a tiny hole either at the bottom of the water pump or at the top of the pump its called the weep hole, when coolant comes out of this hole it means the internal shaft seals of the pump have failed and it requires replacement of the pump, now if the coolant is coming out of where the pump bolts onto the engine block you propbably only need the waterpump to block gasket to fix the leak, check and see exactly where the coolant is coming out from so you can be sure exactly what you need to replace....

Well, if that Radiator hose is not leaking, then the Water pump seals have gone bad. More than likely you need a new water pump.
