Could be a bad clock spring in the steering column.
To replace it, the airbag has to come out and so does the steering wheel.
PLEASE do not try to replace it yourself.
If not done by a qualified mechanic, the airbag can go off.

SOURCE: cruise control quit working.

there are a few things that can inhibit the cruise control on a jeep, and the more prevalent one is a vacuum leak in that circuit (hose) that runs off the intake manifold (rearmost one with the check valve in it), which then jogs over to the passenger side of the vehicle, and takes a dive down under the battery tray to the vacuum reservoir. if you are creative about making a plug after pulling the hose off the intake manifold, and then disconnect the tiny hose from the cruise control actuator, also on the passenger side of the engine compartment, and then pull vacuum either with your mouth or a small vacuum pump, then you've proven that this is not the reason the system is not working. Also, if your valve cover rearmost vacuum line to the intake manifold is 'leaky', it will cause this as well as other issues, such as defroster or air conditioning not to blow thru the air vents into the crew cabin, but only onto the windshield defroster vents. if this turns out not to be the problem, and the hose and valve cover fitting are in good shape (the center section of this is plastic and brittle and subject to cracking and breaking, by the way!), it's a good time to start to suspect the brake pedal switch. this switch has contacts that do more than just allow the brake lights to come on, there are cruise control 'inhibit' contacts in this switch as well. and yes, these do tend to go bad. in any case, if the instrument cluster blue light never comes on, it suggests that the system has more than vacuum problems and this brake pedal switch is most likely the cause if there is no other known electrical problem, such as an open circuit for the cruise control. I wish I could offer more, but the liklihood of the actuator being the root cause of this failure, is pretty slim, and there is not much else for you to play with, though there is probably an Engine Control Module possibility here, as a group of five or six Cruise Control wires actually go into that box. In any case, do the vacuum hose and vacuum checks first, then start to think about the 30 dollar switch on the brake pedal.

SOURCE: Horn, cruise control, and radio controls on steering wheel do not work ?

The clockspring behind the steering wheel is possibly defective or unplugged. It is the one and only component that all of your symptoms have in common.

SOURCE: cruise control just quit working

Check fuses/relays and make sure they are all good; if so check the electrical wiring/connectors in the dash. Jeeps are notorious for loose wires in the dash.

I HAVE A 2002 E150 ECONOLINE VAN. THE RADIO, THE HORN, TURN SIGNALS AND ER FLASHER QUIT WORKING.

Could be a lose connection in the dash , more then likely . Who replaced the gauge an drive indicator ? The horn / cruise control /turn signals / radio all share a common ground point it looks like ,G203
G203 Behind upper LH side of I/P, near cowl
Maybe after gauge & drive indicator replacement connection became lose . None of these componets share a power supply (fuse) I can't send picture of the location of G- 203 sorry ! Instrument cluster would need to come out to see the ground .

CRUISE CONTROL QUIT

There should be a Cruise Control relay too. Find one thats the same and switch them out, like the horn relay. If the Cruise starts working then you have a bad relay.

Crusie control does not work on 2011 gmc sierra 1500 and I've already replaced the switch?

If the switch is replaced, then it can be wiring issue or faulty cruise control board. But as the switch is replaced, get the voltage at the switch tested to confirm the switch is actually receiving voltage. If no voltage received at switch power supply wire then ,apply external 12 volt power to the cruise control switch wire and then see if cruise control comes ON.If yes, then you know wiring is issue.

My 1998 plymouth grand voyager horn and cruise control do not work.whats the problem..

There was a recall due to the clockspring being wound incorrectly. If the repair was not made, this could cause the horn and cruise control to quit functioning and the air bag light to stay on.

Horn and cruise control dont work, what to do?

It is wires wound around in a circle within a plastic housing called a clockspring. The clockspring lives behind the steering wheel and connects your horn, cruise and most importantly the airbag. Usually it is the airbag that is first to quit with a light on the dash coming on.
