Differance between nissan largo and nissan serena engine

It appears to be a known issue on this vehicle. Try changing the thermostat, burp the air out of the system well with heating on full, radiator cap off and keep topping off until the cooling fans click on. The cooling fans do work??? If non of that works, sell it at auction quick! It has a history of overheating, blown head gaskets and turbos.

These are different areas. I diagnose cars. Other mechanics usually work on them. Unless it is electrical or computers. Seen many times the person who worked on them pinch electrical lines. When it comes back and I see it. The other guy has to redo it. I fix the wires. There are coincidences, But if those happened right out of the shop, I would question it.

check for an air/vacuum leak in the manifold gasket area. Check that the accelerator cable/ linkage is connected properly and adjust the idle speed up to around a minimum of 750 rpm

these engine are a piece of cake to repair so simple and so sturdy they run forever ,but a 1991?? is it worth repairing as when you pull the head off it may have corroded water ports which means a new head .If its repaired whats its worth ?? 1000euros tops at this age

Parts yard usually have cross reference books or have a dealer or parts house compare part numbers for you.

change the fuel pump.

I have the same problem but its my interior heaters that wont work my garage says theres two parts to the system poss 3????
take the driver seat out theres a cap to fill there. I kinda thinking Ive got head trouble as my thermastats ok...topping up all the systems does work for a bit on my findings..

Have you tried pepboys or autozone, they both carry the haynes
manuels . they were the only place I could find one for my MR2

do the thermostat and water pump, just did my cd20 and there was nothing left of the water pump
