SOURCE: how do you fill the transmission fluid on a manual

the transmission dip is located under the hood and with a funnel you put the transmission fluid in and remember to keep checking while the engine is running warm because it does tend to expand and you want to make sure you're right on the line when you see the red fluid on the stick.

there is either a vacuum leak,or a valve on the throttle body called an iac that is bad. it is the idle air controller.alot of mazda have that problem

check the slave cylinder adjustment as normally there is no adjustment on the piston rod
There should be about 1/4 " free play between rod and throw out arm
the pivot bolt for the throw out arm should never be adjusted
what you have indicates air in the system or a faulty clutch master cylinder
you can get the clutch slipping indication if the compensating port in the master cylinder is blocked which holds the fluid in the system and keeps the clutch from fulling engaging
no resistance is air in the system and that can be from a faulty master cylinder

Have 90 toyota 4runner just replaced slave cylinder plenty of fluid but the clutch pedal just flops around no resistence either way. any answers?

Hello, try opening the bleeder valve on the slave cylinder, leave it open, pull the pedal up and then pump the pedal down and pull it up repeatedly until you feel some pressure, close the valve and try bleeding the rest of the air out in the normal manner.

Hello I have a 1993 Mazda mx3 gs 1.8L. For the life of me I can not find a serpatine belt diagram for this car. Please HELP???

your best bet is to purchase service manual from Autozone, Advance, auto parts stores. They handle Haynes & Clymers manuals (they run about $10) or Amazon, Barnes & Noble. I checked online and you're right it's a mystery why the Mazda forums lack that info...

Wont shift into gear

Was the fluid low? Does the pedal have any resistance? does it feel normal? Did it happen all of a sudden? Does it shift into gear with the engine off? You say it doesnt shift into gear, but does the shifter move into gear or not? Or it does and the truck wont move? Sounds like maybe the SLAVE CYL isnt operating? leaking? theres more questions to answer.
