Try removing passenger front tire and accessing battery compartment through panel on the front side of the wheel well. what i did. not real easy, but easier than removing all the components for access from the top.

Need to find out my battery for my chrysler concorde lx 2003

jack up the passenger front of the vehicle. Remove the passenger front tire. Remove the inner fender well. The battery will be behind the inner fender.

If you look under the air cleaner box you should be able to see the battery. Sometimes it is necessary to remove the air box to get at the terminal ends.

Is the best method of Removal and Replacement of Battery in a 2004 Concorde through the right front wheel well? If the plastic section of the wheel well is removed, will the battery have enough room to...

Yes, the only way is though the wheel well. You have to remove the wheel to make enough room to get it out. You also can remove the air cleaner box to get better access to the top post and hold down bracket. 4 thumbs up is appreciated if this helps.

How do i change the battery on a 2001 chrysler concorde

You have to take the passenger front wheel off first. Then you un-screw the paneling in the front of the wheel well and there you have it. The battery is sitting right there ready for your removal. You have to remove the air cleaner box as well to get to the retaining straps on the top of the battery.

How to remove air filter housing to replace battery on a 2001 chrysler 300?

Looking at the directions....for battery removal, it doesn't state removing the air filter cover but to do that, all you do is unclip the cover of the air cleaner....very simple.

My 2001 chrysler concord started fine this afternoon but a couple hours later when i went to start my car I just heard click click click... the lights & windows & radio all work & I tried to jumping it but...

Check your started connections and battery connections ..

It is behind the front passenger wheel fender

The battery is buried within the front section of the passenger side front fender.

Disconnect the neg battery cable close to the firewall.

Remove the bolts holding the air cleaner assembly in place.

(Removing the air feed tube from the air cleaner assembly helps)

Once this is removed, you should be able to see the battery hold-down bolts.

Remove these and remove the hold-down assembly.

If you are removing the battery, remove the 1st battery cable.

Depending upon what battery you have, you may be able to slide the battery back toward the wheel and disconnect the 2nd cable.

Jack the vehicle up, put on jack stands and remove the passenger side wheel.

On the front side of the wheel well there is an access panel that needs to be removed in order to access the battery. There are 6-8 1/4" screws to remove. Then manipulate the cover until you can remove it, bending it slightly.

If you were unable to disconnect the 2nd battery cable earlier, you can now move the battery further towards the rear of the car.

Remove the 2nd cable clamp from under the hood.

Slide the battery all the way out. It is heavy!

Reverse the instructions for reassembly.

Hope this helps.....

Replacing the car battery of a 2001 chrysler concorde

The official way is to jack up the passenger side, remove the wheel and there is an access panel there. Remove the panel and slide the batterry into the wheelwell. Easy !! (What a pain)

After I did that once, I tried it from the top of the car. The air cleaner box is held into the side of the r by two rubber "prongs", but secured at the side nearest the engine with a third "prong" to a metal base that is bolted to the chassis. You can undo the bolt with a long extension socket, or you can try and pry the "prong" off the base.

You will also need to unscrew the screw clip that holds the main filter box top to the resyt of the air intake system
