I keep losing spark on my 86 toyota, hot or cold

Sounds like a bad coil. But a sensor like a module or an aging distributor cap and rotor are the most suspect. Take off the distributor cap and see if a white powdery substance is building up scrape it clean with a sharp knife... it may run for a few months best to replace the rotor and distributor cap

Ram 1500 239 runs about 8 to 12 miles then backfires and looses power let sit a while and run good for acuople more miles before running bag again

It sounds like your ignition coil is overheating. Once it cools down it will fire properly until it gets hot again. Replace the ignition coil and you should be all set.

Looses power why driving has trouble starting you can be going down the highway then it starts to spit and spudder all the sudden pull off and shut it off for about 15 minutes or so try to fire it up it...

A good pump and a bad one look identical; problem with the bad one is that after running for a while, it gets hat, begins to bind and then stops. Once cooled down, it will repeat the process. Even when pressure testing, it may "seem" fine but not be., 'till it gets bad enough to show up during testing. Your crank position sensor can act the same way, so can an ignition coil. (internal expansion during heating shows internal shorting.) When in "no start" check for spark. This should separate fuel problem from ignition related stuff. Then, go from there. Do real testing...guessing and replacing parts can cost you a fortune.

98 buick car runs great untill i put gas

Sounds like water in fuel tank. Try putting some gasline antifreeze in, (maybe a couple of bottles) will clear up water and problem if that's it.

1994 Jeep Cherokee ignition problem

might check the crank sensor. it is located on the transmission bellhousing on top just off to the drivers side. if the pcm loses this signal the vehicle will die immediately and not restart until it sees the signal again
