No hot air & sometimes no air at all

I have had no heat for 1 winter and really need to fix before this winter. Lately the fan hasn't been blowing out any air. This morning I had no air at all on any of the fan settings and then I hit a bump and wow the air started blowing but still only cold air. Please any help would be appreciated. I checked the heater core hoses and they are getting hot and we have already flushed the heater core. PLEASE HELP! My kids and I would not like to freeze again this winter.

I have a 98 mazda 626 an the a/c blows out hot air. How can i fix this?

Nope.
The coolant only cools the engine and produces heat for the cabin in the winter.
You need to find out if the compressor is working when the engine is running and the ac switch is on.
I could be low on freon or have an electrical problem.

1989 chev g30 heater fan is blowing yet no heat is there a a switch?

Check the antifreeze for temperature protection.Have you changed it lately? Without proper mix in the winter,it will only blow cold air.
Hope this helps

No heat jaguar 88 xj6 fan wont turn on cool air out the defrost vent

I have the similar problem with both my Jaguars, one is a 1988 Jaguar XJS, the other is a 1987 Jaguar XJ6, both blow COLD air out some vents while it blows warm air for heat. I heard it had something to do with the cold air blowing as a dehumidifier, I don't know if this is true, but it is really annoying to have both cold and warm air blowing when I need heat in these cold Canadian winters. If you find out please drop this website a note and let us know how you solved it. thanks.

Ford ka heater blows hot air all the time

Your problem is a faulty heater control valve. The design used on these vehicles allows for hot water to flow constantly and compete with the evaporator as there is no blender door. You have to replace the valve and possibly the control head. Meanwhile, you can bypass the valve to have cold air

A/c and heater

Is it leaking antefreeze?
The thermostat might be gone or needs a bigger thermostat
It could be a vaccum leak for the drivers side blowing cool air and the passenger side blowing warm air
Does it have dual air control switches one for drivers side and one for passengers side?
