Check the abs module for trouble codes. You will need a high end scan tool or a specific abs code reader to do it. The brake light is on likely because the abs light is on. The airbag light might be a different story. Does the horn and cruise work?

SOURCE: abs and air bag light is on

The ABS stands for (Anti-Lock Brake System). The air bag light or SRS stands for (Supplemental Restraint System). The lights are staying on because there is a problem with both systems. They have nothing in common with each other. I suggest you have this looked at by a professional. Working on the SRS can be hazardous so leave that to a pro.

SOURCE: I have a lot of problems my brake light, abs

If the ignition swithc is going out the pwr windows, a/c blower, radio, signals will not work and you will see the air bag and brake dash light on. If this sounds like what your having and it does not do it all the time, try moving the ignition key slightly back and forth and see if the itme power up and the lights go out. If they do then the ignition switch is the likely cause.

When the light is on all the time there is a problem in the air bag system. This is something you will want to take to a service center soon, as long as the light is on the air bags will not deploy in an accident.

SOURCE: ABS LIGHTS

your rear abs sensor probably is bad this will turn on both lights. the sensor is located on the pumpkin in the rear axle assembly.

Hello I saw the break alert light lit on my

Usually when th fluid level low light comes on, it is because the fluid is ging to the front calipers to fill the pistons that push the brake pads against the rotors. This is because the pads are worn down and probably need replacing.

As for the 3 beeps, it is not related to the brakes.

if it is 5 beeps, it is the air bag or pretensioner.

When the ignition is cycled (turned off and then on), the air bag indicator will remain lit for six seconds and then go out. If an SRS fault exists, the air bag indicator will then flash the two-digit LFC. The air bag indicator will flash the LFC five times, then it will remain illuminated for the rest of the key cycle. The RCM will also communicate the current and historical DTCs through the data link connector (DLC), using the scan tool. If the air bag indicator does not function, and the system detects a fault condition, the RCM will signal the GEM to activate an audible chime. The chime is a series of five sets of five tone bursts. If the chime is heard, the SRS and the air bag indicator require repair.

Air bag light giving a 37 code and abs light has been on for two years

As for the ABS light you probably have broken wires at the wheel hub. I just had mine repaired very little cost if you have the right mechanic that knows what they are doing they should have an ABS scanner to pin point the break . this is an ongoing problem with ABS systems.

The ABS and air-bag light are permanently on and a warning light

kenchyke, the shop may have disabled the air bag system to work on the car, and possibly forgot to activate it again. While this seems a bit odd to me that they could overlook this but, since it started after the work was done, you need to return it to the shop asap to have them check it out. Although the car runs fine, the abs system and the air bags won't operate, which could result in injury if you are in an accident (air bag will not deploy, abs probably disconnected).

I HAVE A 1998 dodge ram 318 1500 two wheel drive the abs and brake light come on but it brakes fine when the brake light and abs light go out i have to really push the pedal down to stop the petal feels...

you need to check the break fluid level now
i do think it is too late tho
what it sounds like is air in your break system
you need to bleed the breaks not doing so can damage the break booster
you need to add fluid to the booster now as it will help and may not need bleeding
if you keep driving the way it is you may loose your breaks all together which is a danger to you and others
you need to have this attended asap it is not a hard job or expensive job
when you put fluid in the car pump the breaks every time you need to or they get soft this forces the fluid through the pips altho the air may have no where to escape which is why we bleed them to let the air out
hope this helps
