Ive never seen a car start up just fine after leaving the key on all night. I would try jumping it. If the voltage is too low it wont start.

SOURCE: car cut off while driving wouldnt start back up

Replace the switch.Yes they can be faulty. If that doesn't solve the problem then your fuel pump is causing it to trip out.change the fuel pump.good luck.

SOURCE: 1990 F150 Fuel pump just replaced but wont turn on

Replace the fuel pump relay. And if your truck has dual tanks there's three fuel pumps, one in each tank and another secondary fuel pump.

You said you tightened the battery cables, did you check the other end of the negative where it bolts to the engine. When you tightened the cables you also used a battery brush and cleaned the posts and ends?

I have an 1998 Chevy astro van, I have installed a new fuel pump, it cranks but doesn't start I choke the exhaust can you help???

Check to see if you have spark, then check your fuel delivery system.
Oh, by the way there is an inertia fuel cut off switch that might have also popped up thereby cutting off all fuel to the engine. These hidden switches have been installed in vehicles since Pintos were blowing up in the 80's. Easiest fix in the world, go to owners manual, find section on "Fuel Cutoff Switch", locate switch (usually in the passenger side kick panel or the right rear quarter panel) and push the button down. Start vehicle, drive away happy.

Won't start after airbags deployed? (NOT inertia switch)

Assuming the pump has not died, you should be able to jumper the pump relay.
The lite blue and orange wire should be power from the fuse, and the dark green and yellow wire should go to the inertia switch then to the pump.

No power to fuel pump on 1999 crown victoria

Hello abzalkhan193
Heres a few things to check that could cut power to the fuel pump. The fuel pump inertia shutoff sw
in the trunk on the left side, there is a reset button on the switch if you push the button down and
you hear/feel a click then the switch was tripped and you just reset it. The switch's job is to cut off
the fuel in case of an accident. Next, the fuel pump fuse located in the battery fuse block under the
hood on the right fender well, fuse #1 20amp fuse. Next, the fuel pump relay, the relay is located in
relay center on the left fender well. Hope this is helpful.

2002 Escort wont start after crash. No logical reason. Is there resets or sensors?

There is a fuel shut-off switch that stops the flow of fuel in an accident to prevent the occupants from becoming crispy critters. I believe it is in the trunk on Fords. Just push the button in to allow fuel to get to the engine. I'll check to see if I can find the exact location. Back in a few minutes.

Turns over but doesnt start

could be a possible timing belt, blown fuse, and very well may be a bad fuel pump. To check your fuel pump get somebody to turn your key switch over and on top of the engine by your fuel injectors is the fuel rail it should contain a buttons to check for fuel pressure. If you push in on the button and it squirts fuel out it is good if not it is bad. If bad then i would say timing belt.
