Have you considered a conversion kit at all? The higher quality conversion kits out there can be very reliable and much less expensive than repairing the air ride suspension system. Those systems usually only have about 80K miles in their lifespan on average and can cost upwards of thousands of dollars to fix. Strutmasters.com makes a very good product that is designed to last the lifetime of your vehicle. I have known several people who have had the kits installed and loved them!! I am hoping they come out with a conversion kit for my vehicle because I am ready to get rid of my air ride system. It comes with a lifetime warranty and with the problems I have had, it is the peace of mind I need

Hatterasnc,
You're alternator has gone bad and the vehicle was running on battery power. The "clicking" sound is your now dead battery that does not have enough power to turn over the starter. You might also want to check your power steering pump for leak. This is a know problem with early LS400s and will most likey be the cause of the alternator failure. I just dropped $1050.00 to fix the very same promblems you have.

If this light is flashing, there is a problem somewhere in your air suspension system. You can check to make sure its powered on in the trunk on the driver side. Behind the carpeting. This is a common issue with that particular year and model. The system tends to go bad righ around the 15 year old mark or so. Also if the light is flashing, the system is not working. Your just riding on the regular suspension.
Hope it helps

the track off light will come everytime yhe check engine light comes on. this is normal. you need to have the check engine light checked first.you can go to your local parts house they will scan it for so you at least see what area you problem is in and then you can start from there. let me know lf you find out youe engine codes.
