It might not be the relay you are hearing, but the electronic fuel pump (located in the gas tank....yeh!!!) turning on and off. Have you had this checked out??

SOURCE: no 8 volt supply from pcm

You likely already checked this but how about a broken timing belt. If the cams aren't turning the cam sensor isn't working and the pcm won't fire the plugs.

SOURCE: plymouth acclaim wont start,no spark,no fuel

Do me a favor and cycle the key to on, then off, then on, then off, then back to on,& leave it in the on position.(not start) Now watch & record any flashes of the check engine light. You will get a number of flashes, then a pause, then more flashes. for example: 3 flashes, pause, then 3 more, would be code 33. It will always be a 2 digit number. 2 flashes, pause then 5 flashes, is code 25. When you get 5 flashes, pause then 5 more, that's code 55 which means end of message. Get back to us with any codes that flash.

Hi 2004 Chrysler grand voyager LX power at fuel pump fuse no power getting to fuel pump relay

On Chrysler products the fuel pump relay only turns on when that ASD relay is energized by the computer and that happens during cranking, 3 to 5 seconds after you're done cranking or with the engine running. It is very common for the ASD relay to go bad and not allow the fuel pump relay to come on. Also, if the crank sensor has failed it will not allow the ASD relay to energize. These sensors and relays can be observed with a fairly inexpensive scan tool. If you go to a parts store to purchase one I recommend you ask 2 questions. 1) Will it read relays and sensors, live data stream? and 2) is the screen clear and easy to read with few abbreviations? I own 3 scan tools, 2 were under a hundred bucks, better one i think around $150.00 Cheap one is for lending to young kids with good eyes. LOL
I hope this helps

I cant find the fuse for the fuel pump on my 1990 Plymouth Voyager. It is NOT on the fuse block on the firewall. I cant find any fuses under the hood.

The fuel pump has no fuse, it is power as described below.
The two main fuel pump power feeds involve the ASD (Auto Shut-down Relay) which disables the fuel pump, fuel injectors, ignition coil and Oxygen sensor after the loss of a signal from the distributer. The direct power circuit for the pump travels through the relay from a white fusible link which is located under the hood on the left fender panel, along with the ASD relay. The other power feed for the ASD comes from fuse #13 in the fuse block. There's a lot more involved in the operation and troubleshooting of these circuits. So please make sure your diagnosis is correct before replacing the fuel pump, and yes, you do have to remove the fuel tank

1995 plymouth voyager engine wont turn over...replaced fuel filter..cranked for 30 sec...removed fuel filter and no gas getting to fuel filter...can it possibly be anything else except fuel pump??

Put the line back together and give the fuel tank a light whack with your hand or a rubber mallat while trying to start it.if the fuel pump is dead, the vibration may start your fuel pump working.good way to verify

Is the asd relay the same as the eatx relay on a 1995 dodge intrepid

No.
The ASD = Automatic Shutdown Relay
The EATX = Electronic Automatic Transmission Relay.

there is an ASD fuse=automatic shutdown relay, which will disable you van.

1996 grand voyager won't start

Donna, you need to check to see if there is fuel getting to the engine to determine if it's the fuel pump. The 1st and easiest check, is to turn the key to the 'run' position, but do not turn the engine over, if you do, go back one 'notch' on the key. You should hear a 'whirring' sound coming from the fuel tank, which would be the fuel pump going on. This sound will only last a few seconds, unless you start the vehicle (which you can't). If there is no sound, it could be a bad pump, BUT 1st check the easy stuff: fuel pump fuse, fuel pump relay, ASD relay or other related circuits. So start simple, and go from there, good luck, let me know what you find.
