Check spark plugs and there gaps, also check the leads with a meter as if you have changed the rotor and you have spark on number 1 then the problem can be with the leads of the spark plugs, spark plugs can fail as well as the leads, also if you replaced the rota did you replace the cap as its best to do this at the same time as they do were out or become less conductive with a white coating on them. clean with some any cloth, also if the spark on number one is weak the coil could need replacing they usually last around 5 years but it depends on driving time.

burned valve is likely the culprit.... or bad rings.... hook air up to that cyclinder one at a time.... and listen where the air is escaping... be aware that the motor will rotate till the piston is at the bottom of it's rotation. if it's a burned valve you will have to remove the head and replace it but somewhat easier job then replacing the rings. darn almost forgot.... it can also be a blown head gasket.... same procedure but you might need a brush and some soap water to test for an air leak at the side of the head. when you are done spray some wd 40 on it to get the water off so the spark plugs do not arc.

Here you go. As the firing order is 1-2-3-4-5-6 it is simple. Just connect #1 to the #1 location as noted on the diagram, then to the #1 plug, and then as the distributor is rotating clockwise the #2 plug wire goes to the next connection which will be #2 in line and so on.
