The gurgling sound is upon starting then the temperature guage runs from normal to cold and the antifreeze blows out the tank. a new water pump, and two new thermostats have been installed and new cap. system was flushed and still problem exists. Is there air in the system? no lights come on so no codes can be read. The previous owner had problems with overheating now we have problems with is running cold both with antifreeze blowing out the tank.

You have an air pocket in the cooling system. To bled it out you will have to park vehicle on an incline or jack up the front end untill the radiator cap is higher than the heater core. The remove radiator cap and run engine until warm then hold rpm to about 1200 rpm's and top off coolant level until you have no more bubbles.

Did you bleed the cooling system after refilling the radiator ? to bleed the system, fill the radiator with water and coolant. Run the engine until it is at a good temperature. Then turn off the engine and look for a bleeding screw at the oulet of the thermostat housing and turn it with a screwdriver counterclock wise. The trapped air will go out and coolant will start coming out. refill the radiator and repeat until only coolant comes out and no air.be careful not to burn yourself.

yes some systems have to be burped or the boil over can occur in the motor and cause head gasket issues..at 195k i think you should check the system for leaks and thermostat if it is opening at right tempatures or is slow..plus the vented cap on your radiator check with vacuum gauge if it holds about 12-14 psi before it vents...

If the hoses to and from the heater core are hot , and you say the heater core is hot , then the only answer is that the air duct that flows into or out of the heater core plenum ( housing ) is not opening.
Heater control on dash borad inoperative.
Not sure about 92 capri , some cars have a cable linkage , some work on vacume motors.
Try to find a haynes manual for your car , they will walk you through almost every step of anything you may ever want to do to your car.
You seem to know what you are doing , but I gotta ask ........the heater core you felt was up behind the dash inside the passenger compartment of the car right ?

Sounds like a sticking thermostat (temp up/down).
In an emergency, you can remove it, but replace it soon.
I otherwise suspect the radiator fan, but it shouldn't overheat if you are on a highway going faster than 50mph (enough air blows through the engine compartment).
Everything else you describe does not indicate any other solution.
I suppose it could be the radiator fan RELAY SWITCH or loose wire to it.
Hope this helps....
