If there is power at the brake light switch (Check with a test light) then the problem is in the turn signal switch, brake light circuits run through it.

The brake lights in my 1992 Honda Accord won't light up when I press the brake pedal. How can I fix that?

First check brake light fuse if ok Go to the brake light switch Witch is switched on or off by the brake pedal .With a trouble light check there is power on both terminals with the pedal depressed if not replace switch, if ok you have a open circuit from the switch to stop lights.

Would a bad Flasher relay cause the brake lights not to work?

The flasher does not stop the brake lights from working. Check # 18 fuse in fusebox under lower left side of dash. if it's ok, the brake light switch, on the brake pedal arm is next. light green wire with red stripe is hot if fuse 18 is ok. Depress brake pedal, light green with no stripe should have power. if not, replace brake light switch. If light green wire has power with pedal depressed, combination switch under the steering is next. Remove the cover from around the combo switch {under the steering wheel}. depress brake pedal, light green wire should have power. If it does, pedal still depressed, orange with light blue wire & wire with light green & orange should have power. Those 2 wires are brake & rear turn signal wires. { The turn signal switch should be in the middle, not right position or left. while checking for power in the last 2 wires. Good Luck drvolt.

Rear brake light are not working checked fuse under hood and passenger side dash could not find fuse by brake pedal

It could possibly be the actual switch that sits behind the break pedal. When the break pedal depresses or presses into the switch, the break lights go on or off. Not sure how much they run, but really easy to change. You could also check the switch with an ohm meter if available by making sure it breaks or runs continuity through the terminals when the switch is pressed/released. Hope this helps. Good luck!

Plugged in a trailer and now brake lights and horn don't work

There definitely should be a fuse for your brake lights. It should be inside the car fuse box, but sometimes it'll be under the hood (very rare). There's also a switch above the brake pedal that turns your brake lights on. This switch may be faulty
