The starter switch on my vehicle is wired wrong.. need help in finding a diagram on how the wiring is suppose to be hooked up?.. when the battery is connected the vehicle's starter automatically tries to start without the key in the ignition.. any help would be very much appreciated. :0)
It's probably your starter solenoid that is stuck on. Older fords had this solenoid or relay located on the passenger fender apron, but I think on your '95 model, it is located on the starter motor itself.
There are copper contact points or buttons inside the solenoid. Yours must have stuck together. Pretty simple fix: pull the starter off and change the solenoid.
