• Hi I can help,

• To change the headlight on a 1976 - 1986 cj7 headlight you can reference the diagram I put up as well for a visual.
• Basically there is a bracket that has two screws on top and two below that when removed, release the light assembly.
• From there you can access the bulb in the back by twisting it out and removing the connector.

you dont need a diagram, all you need is a test light and someone to push your brake pedal.

have the dealer fax the wiring diagram to you that's what I do

on the radiator support, you'll find the vacuum diagram , easy as a road map to read, for some. If this is a replacement engine, go with the basic line configuration of; vacuum advance, automatic tranny vacuum line, temperature controls if vacuum operated, fuel tank canister. Don't be surprised to see you can block a number of vacuum fittings off the carb. If emissions is an issue, you will want to google the info. List the name, make, model and search on google for the vacuum diagram

T-5: The T-5 is a light duty 5 speed transmission used in CJs from 1982 until 1986

If I'm correct there a fusible link for the headlights.
Probably of the starter solonoid.
