Turn signal bulb was working, now it isnt

My driver side blinkers werent working, but passenger side was. I just bought new headlight assemblies and when I was putting them in, I also changed the bulbs on the driver side. the middle turn signal bulb refused to light up, but the passenger side middle turn signal bulb was working. I put the new bulb in the passenger side middle turn signal place and it wouldnt work so i assumed the bulb was a dud. when i put the working bulb back in the passenger side middle turn signal bulb spot, it refused to light up. now neither of the middle turn signal bulbs will light up.

Its is not uncommon for the contacts in the sockets to become corroded or just expand to the point of where they do not contact the bulb, try to test the socket with a multimeter for voltage,if it has voltage then its most likely the contacts, which sometimes can be rebent, but replaceing the sockets is a better solution, and can be picked up at most stores or 4x4 shops and junk yards.

How do i get to the front drivers side turning light of a 2008 mkz

To access the front driver's side turning light of a 2008 Lincoln MKZ, you will need to follow these steps:

1. Open the hood of the car and locate the headlight assembly on the driver's side.
2. Look for the turn signal bulb socket, which will be located at the bottom of the headlight assembly.
3. Turn the bulb socket counterclockwise to release it from the headlight assembly.
4. Gently pull the bulb and socket out of the headlight assembly.
5. Pull the old bulb out of the socket and discard it.
6. Insert a new turn signal bulb into the socket, making sure it is securely seated.
7. Reinsert the bulb and socket into the headlight assembly and turn it clockwise to lock it in place.
8. Test the turn signal to ensure it is working properly.
9. Repeat these steps for the front passenger side turning light if needed.

It's important to note that the exact process may vary slightly depending on the specific model year of your MKZ, so you may want to consult your owner's manual for more detailed instructions or diagrams.

07 G6 drivers side headlight not working

There could be several reasons why the driver side headlight on your 2007 Pontiac G6 is not working. Some possible causes include a blown headlight bulb, a faulty headlight relay, or a problem with the headlight wiring. It's also possible that the issue is related to the turn signal, as you mentioned that it was staying on. I would recommend checking the headlight bulb first. If it is blown, replace it with a new one. If the bulb is fine, the issue may be with the headlight relay or wiring. You can also check the turn signal switch or the multifunction switch, which controls the turn signals and headlight. It may be possible that the switch is defective or malfunctioning. It would be best to get the vehicle inspected by a professional mechanic to determine the cause of the problem and make the necessary repairs.

No passenger rear light and 1 blinker bulb will work if head lights are off. Help please. 2006 Mustang

Remove the rear passenger light assembly and inspect it. You may notice burned plastic in the connectors, which will explain the problem with bulbs not working.

The burned connectors are causing high resistance and when the headlights are on, there isn't enough current left to power the headlights and rear lights.

If the connectors are burned (usually the female connectors connected to the light assembly), you can lookup that part at Autozone or Rockauto. They may have "high temperature" sockets that you can swap out, so they can handle better current than the stock sockets, and you won't have to keep replacing the part.

My 99 rodeo rear driver's side blinker works during the day but when I turn on the headlights, that rear blinker light turn on solid and the blinker will not work when signal is engaged.

Sounds like its a bad bulb or the grounding on it. I had the same problem on my 06 Colorado. I bought new bulbs put on in and it still didn't work turned around and put other one in and it worked. So I'd try that first

I have a 2000 maxima...when headlights are on, passenger side blinker stays lit on the dash and doesn't flash at all. While the headlights are off and i turn the passenger turn signal on it then b

Plain and simple...Your turn signal circuit is shorted to your headlamp circuit. What USUALLY causes this is an incorrect light bulb has been installed in the vehicle or the light bulb was installed incorrectly. There are other possible causes of these circuits being shorted together, but 99 out of 100 of the times that I have seen this it is either because somebody just replaced a bulb or a bulb socket melted somwhere on the car. Be sure to check both the front AND rear bulbs.

Fast Blinker

Usually a fast turn signal means that there is a light out. You should probably check all of your lights, including back-up lights, and turn signals. If there is one out then replacing the burnt out bulb should fix the problem.

How do you get to the front passenger blinker to change

on the 2004 grand cherokee, you have to remove the bolt that hold the light in. if you open the hood and look at the headlight, there is a bolt that go all of the way through the headlight, remove it and gently pull out on the whole assembly.
