Turn signal bulb was working, now it isnt

What USUALLY causes this is an incorrect light bulb has been installed in the vehicle or the light bulb was installed incorrectly. There are other possible causes of these circuits being shorted together, but 99 out of 100 of the times that I have seen this it is either because somebody just replaced a bulb or a bulb socket melted somwhere on the car. Be sure to check both the front AND rear bulbs.

on the 2004 grand cherokee, you have to remove the bolt that hold the light in. if you open the hood and look at the headlight, there is a bolt that go all of the way through the headlight, remove it and gently pull out on the whole assembly.
