You may need to have it tested to see if it's working the connections on the battery may not let the charge through or the battery itself may not take a charge if it's no good

What's the voltage reading at the battery with the engine running ? 13 to 14.1 volts ? If not, it's not charging .Sounds to me like it's not charging ! Is there battery voltage at the heavier gage wire on the back of the alternator ? Does the battery symbol light on the dash work ?

What could be draining a brand new battery along with having a brand new alternator?

the alternator is not charging
problems include incorrect alternator ( internal voltage regulated as against external voltage regulated )
blown rectifier plate ( charing with ac current instead of DC)
drive belt tension
best have it checked by an accredited auto electrician

crankshaft position sensor is not related to alternator. CPS is part of engine control while alternator is charging system.

Brand new battery but no interior lights, radio, or clock, battery won't charge when car is running, alternator tested fine

look for main fuse panel under hood, there should be a charging circuit fuse check it

My brand new alternator wont stay charged

Check the charging relay if working. You can find it in the fuse box which is either in the engine compartment or under the dashboard on the drivers side legroom.

Battery won't stay charged, it is brand new battery, alternator has been checked and it is good, blown BTN 60 watt fuse, on 1994 Mazda Protege.

The 60amp fuse probably is in the circuit between the alternator and the battery. Which would be why the battery is not getting charged.
Someone would need to check for a short in the wiring between the alternator and the battery.

The battery most likely has dead cells and not charging due to the alternator .The alternator is doing what it should, your battery just can't hold the charge the alternator is putting out. Go have the battery tested at a local auto zone or advance auto store. Free to check

Battery losing charge

If its pushing that much current into a fully charged and brand new battery it is over charging and collapsing the cells in the battery.
