The inertia switch should be under the dash on the passenger side. Sometimes it is in t he kick panel near the door. You may need to check the circuits on the pump relay to find out if the pump has power.
There is fuse in fuse box..check that...In most cases if fuse is fine then this would indicate that fuel pump has failed and needs to be replaced. in some cases in some cars the cut off switch fails and needs to be reset or replaced...as to the location on your car?? more than likely fuel pump is bad....hope this helps and good luck.....Please rate my post and thanks in advance.....if need more help fill free to contact me..
Yes, it can be the relay. What I do is unplug the relay and swap it gor yhe horn relay. If this doesn't work, I use a volt/ohmmeter to probe the relay socket. Doing this, I can usually find the problem. With the key on , there should be two terminals in the socket that have battery voltage and one that is grounded. The last terminal goes to the pump and should show low ohms to ground. In your truck, the relay coil is connected to ground and turned on by the ecm with a positive signal. It also seems to depend on the oil pressure switch, so you might want to temporarily bypass the switch with a paper clip in the connector to see if that is keeeping the pump from running.
Try resetting fuel pump. I do believe the reset button is on the forward passengers side of vehicle. The button is behind the plastic shield. Reset once or twice. This hopefully will fix your problem. Look in your manual for exact placement of fuel pump reset button
It doest have a fuel pump relay. It has a feul pump shut off inertia switch that sounds like its bad or needs to be reset.More than likely just reset because there not known for going bad. It has a button on top of it to reset it.
Open luggage compartment door.
Pull back luggage compartment trim to gain access to the Inertia Fuel Shutoff (IFS) switch and check to make sure that the button on topis pressed in.
