You may have a blown fuse. Have you checked your fuses. If not, the fuse you will want to check is in the fuse panel inside the vehicle. Below is a diagram of the fuse layout. The fuse you will want to check is the fuse in the number 16 position. The other possible problem could be the brake light switch located up under the dash on the brake pedal shaft.
