Have f350 super duty i can here the transfer case click in and see the drive shaft to the front axle turn. no four wheel drive, checked for vaccum at wheels and had 15kg when i plugged each side when i selected four wheel high. no four wheel drive. replaced lock out hubs with warner manual ones and still dont work. I did not reuse the spring from the factory set up due to one of my hubs had been stolen, do I need these springs in the hub to make these work?

i would think so other wise you will have a large vacume leak and truck will run bad too.

sorry about your predictament bruv ,where you from london??? cos only us cockneys call one and other bruv like know what i mean.Anyway havent a clue about jam jar its a yanky **** thing but if you mean just using it as a rear wheel drive then iam sure you can get something to work.Do they have fish and chips or pie and mash with jellied eels in the philippines and is their the regulation paddys bar ,not forgetting the standard curry house, nothing like taking our colonials with us where ever we go like know what i mean .A decent ruby murray goes down well after a night down at the local paddys bar ,good punch up with the micks then all meet up in the curry house .Miss all this living in spain.

Solution #1 is WRONG. I own a 1990 F350 XLT Lariat dually. The axles DO NOT have to be pulled out on this truck. I did mine yesterday and if u listen to the directions on #2 you'll be fine
SOURCE: When in auto hubs the 4 wheel drive doesn't work
They are operated by vacuum. Check to make sure the vacuum lines are connected and not ripped or anything. If that checks out fine, remove the vacuum line from the hub and apply vacuum to the hub, if the hubs lock then the problem is in the vacuum line or switch.
