My car will not accelerate when I step on the gas if it does; however, it will do so at a slow speed like 5mph. The engine shakes and turns off and when I press on the gas stays on but the engine still shakes and it spills gasoline. Where are the usual places where it usually leaks at?

SOURCE: my engine is shaking more then usual.

Sounds like you need to get your valve/rocker clearances reset as the toyotas valves tend to sink into the seats and it reduces the clearance so the valves are opening and closing too soon. Not sure if youve checked that your H/T leads arnt tracking out and in good condition.Good luck and let me know how it goes

SOURCE: 94 grand am Head Gasket?

Check ur spark plugs for wetness, if u have water in ur cylinders, you have a gasket problem. 94-95 grand am had a problem with intake gaskets, but my grand am also had a manufacture error on the head gasket too. The dragged the heads over it putting the heads back on and smashed the rings..

SOURCE: The steering wheel starts to shake when I make

a steering wheel shake with the wheel fully turned usually indicates a seizing constant velocity joint (axle). it can also be accompanied by a clicking noise while turning at higher speed. this is easy to confirm. raise and support the front of the vehicle and put in neutral. turn the wheels by hand with steering wheel pointed straight ahead. there should be minimal resistance. then try rotating the wheels with the steering wheel turned all the way to one side then the other. if you feel any extra tightness or binding, you indeed have a seizing joint. if the axles look ok visibly, you will need to remove the axles to confirm which side is the problem. good luck!

I started my car and it was running fine for a while but then it started shaking so i turned off the AC AND IT STOPPED SHAKING SO HARD then as i drove off out of the school onto the road and stopped,

Sounds like your engine timing needs to be advanced and yes I know your car is fuel injected and has coils but there is a small nut on back of jets that when loosed it can advance engine timing and the speed idle speed (driving with foot off the gas normally at coasting speed of 5mph.) My car did the same as yours but tune up and idle adjustment has my idle speed at 6 mph an no problems.

Hyundai Sante Fe 2003 with automatic transmission and 3.6L engine shutters and shakes when slowly accelerating to about 60 kmph. If you take your foot off the gas or accelerate the shaking stops...

Tune up spark plugs, wires, check fuel filter, etc... Check distributor, change transmission fluid and coolant. If you need a new distributor I would try looking for a used one online.

2004 Ford expedition check engine soon light is flashing and car shakes hard when stepping on the accelerator

Your car is misfiring. You should not drive the vehicle while it is misfiring. If you want to DIY it you can start with you ignition system. Make sure all spark plugs, plug wires, and ignition coils are secure and in good condition.
