Highbeams work, low beams do not. wipers only work when highbeams are on. highbeams work but only when you HOLD the turn signal lever towards the steering wheel. all other lights work. relay switch or...

The problem is most likely your cars multi function switch. That is the switch that controls your blinkers, dimmer, and everything else. If you change the switch that should solve your problem.

My headlight-high beam does not work . its just that the highbeam does not come on

Probably the highbeam switch itself but check to see if there is a seperate fuse for the highbeams and if it's blown figure out why

Headlights go out

If your Highbeam Switch is on your streering colum (turn signal lever) Thats where I would start too look! It could be the wires to the highbeam switch. I had that happen on my ford. But if the highbeam switch is on the floor, check for a bad circut connection and if that checks ok it might be your main headlight switch! Even though you may not loose your highbeams, your main headlight power still runs through that highbeam switch, and being on the colum thats why the would start to function when you move the shifter.

Where are the horn and headlamp relays for a 1997 chevy blazer? My headlights/highbeams will not turn on.

the horn relay is located behind the glovebox in relay center, the highbeam doesnt have a relay, check the bulbs and also check the highbeam switch located on steering column. hope this helps,

I need the name of the actual switch on the wheel

You knew the name of it, it's in your question, highbeam switch! Ahhh... the good old days... the highbeam switch was foot operated, remove 2 screws, unplug wire, that was all there was to fixing it.
