1990 Izusu Trooper: Clutch Fork part compatibility between years

1990 Isuzu Trooper 4cyl 4wd I recently bought a 90 Trooper and was hoping if anybody could tell me if parts from later years were compatible...the particular part in question is the Clutch Fork. I have been unsuccessful in finding the part for a 1990, but have been able to find several in later year models (86-88)...If anyone could help me in figuring out whether the later year forks will fit i would greatly appreciate it...having a **** hard time with it.

SOURCE: distributor cap compatability

your caps should be fine between a 90 and 91 one thing you should also check is that the kanooder valve on a 90 is different from one on the 91 these would not be compatable they redid the duflage sensor plug that goes from the kanooder valve to the wiring harness. you might need a kanooder valve mod kit these are really cheap you can grab one from checker for about 20 bucks well worth it trust me.

SOURCE: are there any other alternators compatible with a

On a v6 it must be off of a rodeo v6 only from 11-92 thru 11-95. If you get an aftermarket alt. get a beck arnley brand , others do not work. Try to get your rebuilt at a place that rebuilds alts. and starters locally.

1989. Later models had changes to other components and fuel systems that make cross-over nearly impossible without intensive parts swapping.

How to replace a clutch on 1990 Isuzu trooper.

QOD: are you dead SURE the slave is ok? moves .75 to 1inch and OK?
2wd or 4wd? not stated.?
no engine stated? v6 or i4?

the procedure is same on all 4wd cars/trucks(mostly)
some pull the engine , for sure if engine needs work,as most do
after 25 years,
or pull transfer case and trans, pulled at the bell.
depends too,if you like spending long time under car
or on top, bent over fenders. (and tools)
if engine out no need to drain 1 or 2 gear boxes..and links,console..endless details....4wd lots more....

the video above shows the odd DUCK, throw out bearing.
and is important to know all that,
why not get a service manual..>?or use mitchell's????

not too many 1990 on the road.
rare car and year.
done many jeeps and rice 4wd.
2.6L,, SACHs 9.5" clutch $120 ($300 is bs)
or
2.8 v6 SACHs 9.125" clutch. $170

see they are not the same.....
I like Sachs, as you can see.. china clones not.

do you know how to fit the flywheel pilot bushing
and inspect fly surface, ?

the staging on the 9 bolt PP is here

im online now at one famous site
and the install skips, pilot bearing, funny that.
a real service manual is far better.

clutch-3xydvjc2hsdtpbulwfi331lq-2-0.jpg

26a-3xydvjc2hsdtpbulwfi331lq-2-1.jpg slave to fork lever to above damage, at T/o bearing
trans mission pilot shaft tip wrecked, or spline wrecked?
or you wiggle said shaft and front bearing in the box is SHOT.?
flywheel warped, or?
just saying, ive seen it all there, every fail.
on some all those were bad, on many 25year old cars.

1999 Isuzu Rodeo interchangeable parts with what years

Depends on what parts you're referring to. The 1998 and 1999 are identical I believe, but in 2000 the headlights and front grille changed slightly. Some other "appearance" parts, interior and exterior are different, but many are the same. The engine, drivetrain, wheels and other mechanical parts remained largely the same through 2002. In the final year they were sold in the U.S., 2003 a lot more changes were made but the body remained pretty much the same. They also added the larger, 2.4L engine from the Trooper as an option. In all years from 1998 forward, there were 4cyl, 6cyl, 2WD and 4WD options, automatic and manual transmissions. So, your question is very vague to answer specifically.

WHY MY IZUSU AIRCONDITION COMPRESSOR WILL NOT WORK AUTOMATIC

so the A/C is on , blower on and blowing
and the compressor clutch drops out?
the shaft on the compressor stalls? and pulley is fast.
that means the A/C AMP logic module sees errors.
or the hi/low pressure switch is open (12vdc on both sides is good)

I have a 1990 Isuzu trooper i am wondering what is n line between the clutch master cylinder and the slave cylinder

You mean brake fluid?? There should be nothing in between the master and slave, unless you have a switch of some sort, but being that old, I doubt it. I really don't understand your question, but hope this helps.

"90" Trooper will not go in gear when eng running

You'll have to bleed your system. There should be a bleeder screw on your slave cyllinder.Stick a piece of vacuum hose on it, and have the other end of the hose in a bottle of brake fluid. Keep pumping your clutch until no more bubbles come out of the hose, and then, with the clutch held in, tighten your bleeder screw again, and you should be good.

Need a new Transmission assy.

GT4x4 are probably your best bet, or alternatively breakerlink or breakeryard (google for them)
