i scanned a pic out of my manual for ya , 89 cherokee 4.0 , hope its readable.

THERE SHOULD BE A EVAP/VACUUM DIAGRAM UNDER THE HOOD ON A WHITE STICKER. SOMETIMES THEY ARE ON THE BOTTOM SIDE OF THE HOOD ITSELF. I HOPE THIS HELPS. PLEASE KEEP ME POSTED THANKS FOR USING FIX-YA AND FOR AN HONEST RATING/COMMENT. GOOD LUCK

Vacuum lines at front axle are part of your 4x4 control system. When changing oil or doing anything under the vehicle, always good to take a look at them and make sure they are secure, and in good shape. This eliminates problems while on the road.
