I own this car for 13 years. it developed a problem last winter. and did not change since then. sometimes blinkers run fast like i lost a bulb on that side. but they are working. i can se the light. i checked for sockets and housings, when iplay with bulbs sometimes they lost power and computer thinks bulb is out even if bulb is connected instantly after. it blinks fast for few seconds then turns back to normal. i tried tighter fit bulbs, i replaced sockets i replaced housings. it does same thing rarely but it is still there. does anybody has specific informaiton on this issue?

find / replace the flasher relay... should be two of them.. one is for the turn signals

If new bulbs don't work, it is probably the harness that holds the bulb. I had to replace both on my car after fighting with the problem for over a year and not knowing.

any increase in bink speed is direcly related to a bulb being burt out.

replace the blinker, its probably getting weak and arcing, or you could have a lamp front or back shorted to ground on the vehicle frame
