While driving the car looses power like it is starved for gas and then goes again. It has not cut out yet but once it did it about 15 times. then nothing for days.

Whlie driving the car i guess the word would be cuts out and jerks and then continues driving. No alarms or idiot lights come on. it is very intermittenent. No rhyme to reason as when it will happen again. I put a carborator cleaner/injection cleaner in the gas thinking there was a plug or something. It has happened 2 times one day and 1 time another. But never as bad as the first time.

2014 Toyota Highlander Looses power while driving

I would think it is a plugged fuel filter/fuel line. The blockage moves away when you stop and then when you drive again it blocks the gas flow again.

Engine acts like it is out of gas keeps stalling i can turn it off for a few minutes will run for a mile or two then does it again

Vent valve has failed closed or cannister is clogged up. Have the evap system checked from the tank to the charcoal canister. If you need to drive to a mechanic, try driving with the gas cap loose.

I have a 2005 volkswagen beetle. I have been having problems. When I take off its ok when i press the gas. Once I get on the fwy and i am driving for like 15 mins and there is traffic and its stop and go....

Is it worse with a full tank? I'm thinking that the closed circuit tank breather system is creating a vacum in the tank starving the engine, when you switch off it will vent the tank, try running with the cap loose or off (this might turn the engine warning light on for a while but dont worry)

Loss of power at 2400 rpm's

Check your mass airflow meter. If it's bad, at least on my 1990 300ZX, the car won't rev over 2400RPM (it's a safeguard built into the ECU of the car). Grab one from a scrapyard and swap it in and see if that fixes the issue.
