I have a 2004 Chrysler Sebring Convertable 2.7 Liter. The oil light comes on even after ive just changed the oil. Is there a way to reset it?

Hello marco.... To reset the oil light do this. Turn on the key but do not start the engine. Pump the gas pedal hard three times in succession. Then turn the key fully on and start the engine. This will reset the oil light. It will come back on in about 3,000 miles as a reminder to change the oil. Joe

why do you want your rpms higher while idling? you don't want them high because your gas bill will reflect that. slow shouldn't matter but if it's dying while on idle it could either be your mass air flow sensor or your fuel filter being clogged

sounds like float is stuck in tank,either remove pump again or try filling tank and drive your car swerving it to unstick float assembly

Try disconnecting neg battery cable for 10 minutes, then plug back in. It should reset the code. Otherwise use an obd2 scanner to reset it. If light is still on, the sensor may be bad. You can check with a voltmeter.

circuit board is probably bad!

check the gas cap...i"ve found that a loose cap will set off the check light...if you dont have a computer to recall or reset the codes i believe it"ll just go away after you drive it for a couple days on its on once corrected.

check the aic (aux idle air control valve) unplug it and see if it evens out you may have a vac leak please rate -jeff
