Holden Rodeo 2006 4cyl 3l 4x4 turbo diesel. power dropping out around 2500-3000rpms and engine light come on. any ideas

Could be a plugged fuel filter. Lets some fuel through then higher draw for higher rpm doesn't provide enough fuel so it dies. Also could be debris in the fuel tank when it is pulled under higher draw and blocks line temporarily.

2005 Holden rodeo turbo diesel has intermittent fuel issues. Revs drop out and check engine light comes on. United fuel injection Mechanic can't fault it.

Not unless it was fitted after market. to make sure trace the fuel line from the fuel filter back to the tank.

Engine will not start after changing battery in 2004 Isuzu Rodeo

Get yourself a can of starting fluid spray, and spray NO MORE than a two second burst into the air intake after removing the filter. Then crank it. If it fires (very briefly), your problem is low or no fuel delivery to the engine.

Rodeo petrol starts but wont rev

Holden Rodeo 1989 2.6mpi , start and only runs for 2 or so seconds themselves stalls, after putting on a fuel peesure gauge, fuel looked okay and slowly dropping, found the ECM relay was intermittently switching on and off, gave it a tap and the engine kept on running, relay not repairable, replace with new part. Located in the fuse and relay box on the right hand side of engine bay next to battery. Hope this helps.

Thanks for choosing FixYa and welcome to the site. It is usually recommended at 100,000 miles. They can last the lifetime of a vehicle but if money is not a problem and you are close or over 100,000 miles, I would go ahead and change it. If it breaks, not only are you not going no where, it can also cause engine damage.

2002 holden rodeo automatic transmision oil capacity

The filter doesn't take any oil, but when they figure the quantity, they figure either filter change or rebuild, the filter change uses about 5 quarts and the rebuild is 12 quarts. I don't have the exact amounts in front of me, but if you need them,I can look them up. Also, I am not familiar with the Holden dual cab, But most automatics are about the same. Hope this helps.

Your diesel engine should have a center bolt holding fuel filter it in place.you place drain pan under fuel filter when you remove top center bolt while holding fuel filter then remove old fuel filter then take new fuel filter add few ounces clean diesel fuel in new fuel filter lubricate gasket new fuel filter cartridge then install new filter crank engine check for leaks.
