Did you change your Mass Air Flow Sensor? Your air filter? Idle Air Control Valve? This sounds like you are having an air issue. Meaning that your vehicle is not being aloud to breath properly.

if you have replaced cap and rotor plus coil and it seemed to fire up then i would take the next step. For sure put your new plugs and wires on then make sure you have replaced your air filter, and change out your fuel filter, fire up the vehicle if it doesn't start I would suggest changing the fuel pump. If it starts up make sure you put in some BK fuel injector cleaner in your fuel it might be you have dirty injectors. If all fails then get back with me and we will look else where. Good luck hope this info helps you out
Have you changed the timing belt? or timing belt guides? How many miles? This does not necessarily have to do with fuel.... Could have to do with air intake or timing as well....
Check your fuel pump. Take the gas cap off, have someone turn the key to "run", and listen. You should hear the fuel pump humming for a few seconds, and then stop. If you don't hear a humming, you will likely need to change the fuel pump.
New ones are a ridiculous price for that truck. Try an auto wrecker. Let me know how you make out.
It could be either a bad fuel system or a bad spark system.... Fuel pump, fuel filter, fuel injectors, fuel regulator, spark plugs, ignition coil, distributor cap, etc....
