The transaxle Control Module (TCM) monitors the malfunction of sensors and actuators relating to transaxle control. When the TCM detects a malfunction with the control, a signal is send to the Engine Control Module (ECM) to trigger the Engine Light or Service Engine Soon light. The ECM stores the P0700 code and it means the TCM detected a malfunction with the transaxle controls.

most auto trans don't shift into reverse when low. Reverse takes the most fluid of all the gears. Check for a bad shift solenoid or wires to and from that circuit. Most trans-axles have them now.

Hope this helps. - Jarett
The transaxle shift problem I am unfamiliar with, but the cam crank problem is probably either your Camshaft Position sensor, or Crankshaft Position Sensor.
They had a problem with this plastic washer that is in the shifter tower it sits just under the shifter it self and gets worn out and causes this to happen- hope that helps.
