Engine is a 3300 has white smoke blowing from exhaust along with liquid, no liquid in engine oil
Sounds like a blown head gasket to me.
Was my first guess, but the car runs like a top, I guess I'll have to compression test it...
A blown head gasket usually does not show up very well with a compression test. Compression pressures can vary by several Psi. from cylinder to cylinder on a NORMAL engine. One of the main symptoms is rough running and misfire when the engine is first started after sitting for several hours. This usually clears up within the first minute or so as soon as the antifreeze burns out of the affected cylinder(s). The thing to do is to check for coolant loss and also to run the engine with the radiator cap removed. If there is a blown head gasket, you will be getting combustion gasses blowing bubbles in the radiator or coolant reservoir. If it is not bad enough to "see" by looking in the radiator or reservoir, it can be verified by using a gas analyzer and checking for hydrocarbons coming through the cooling system.
YUP! Those aftermarket "mechanic-in-a-can" leaky head gasket repair chemicals really do work! They will stopp up everything - including your heater core and radiator...the next thing you know, you no longer need a head gasket repair...you will need and ENGINE! Trust me, I've cleaned up MANY of those messes!
